(More customer reviews)I was pleased with the realism of the flame function, but somewhat disappointed with the amount of heat it generates.I have a Dimplex stove-type as well and it outperforms the insert.Someone wanting the ambiance of a fire in the hearth, might consider how the Dimplex Stove would look in the firebox instead of the insert if heat is a primary consideration.
