This heater was purchased for $[...] through Amazon ([...])and meets our expectations. We live in Orlando, Florida and purchased this heater to keep the master bedroom warm at night so we do not have to turn on the heat pump and heat a two story house with 3,300 square feet. Our average electric bill is always over $300 a month and this heater is a money saver! The bedroom is 13'X20'; we close the doors to the hall and bathroom and the unit works well. Since the heater's digital temperature gauge is within inches of the heat source one must set the thermostat 2 to 3 degrees above what you want the room temperature to be. The unit turns on 1 degree below where it is set and off at 2 degrees above set point. It is very quiet since there are no moving parts. It has a long electrical cord - a good thing since you cannot use an extension cord with it. While we seldom get very cold temperatures in Orlando the heater performs well when it is in the 30's outside. Often we turn on the ceiling fan on low and it makes the room a uniform temperature without any cold spots. This heater is paid off in a couple of months if you can reduce the house thermosat or turn it off as we do at night.
