(More customer reviews)My wife bought this for me for Christmas (so she could use it, too, of course),and it serves exactly as advertised. We can comfortably hang two or three bath towels on this to warm or dry them before showering. They do not get as warm as, say, a towel fresh out of the clothes dryer, but it serves well enough.
Because of what we noticed after assembling and placing this rack, I would like to recommend two things to the potential buyer. The first is to measure your bathroom and place a piece of cardboard cut to the same size and folded so it will stand up on its own to get an idea of how much room this will use.Keep in mind the power cord is only about six feet long, and your outlet needs to be close enough. Our bathroom is small and we have to move it near the electrical outlet to plug it in, and later off to the side when our morning showers are complete. This towel warmer is not heavy at all, but for some, it may be a real inconvenience to move it around. The other recommendation is to get a timer to plug this into.It takes no less than half an hour for the towels to get noticably warm, but I don't want to run it all night.I fixed that problem by getting a timer at the home center and set it to turn on an hour before my alarm clock goes off.
