However, this model heater is a real dud.
After using the product for about 2 weeks, the on/off/heatrange selector switch started to fail ie. it would not make contact w/o 'jiggling' the rotary switch.
I only used this product for about 15 min. a day to dry out a small shower room to prevent mildew.
Today it failed altogether, started ok and then after a few minutes just quit. It was not even running long enough to reach the max. temp. setting that I had it on.
I was so disgusted with it by then that I decided to just trash it even though it's still under warranty. The ceramic type heater throws out minimal heat even at it's highest setting so therefore I wouldn't want another one of this type.
Decided to let the reseller know the situation and will not bother sending this unit back either.
Also wanted to give a heads-up to other prospective buyers that this particular unit is NOT a quality product and to avoid this model at all costs.
When I logged back into my order history at Amazon, I realized that the model that was sent to me was not the model they had pictured and advertised. They show a unit with push button controls on the top of the unit vs two rotary knobs that came with my unit??? I totally missed that difference until now.
Anyway, hope this experience helps others.
