(More customer reviews)I was sceptical at first as to how well these two 2'x20' panels would work once I pulled them out of the box.I decided to put them on the roof so that they would have complete sun most of the day.I ran the pump 6 hours a day for the first 4 days before actually checking the temp.To my surprise my 4,500 gallon pool was a hot tub.The temprature was 100 degrees on the surface and at the bottum 4'.I decided to leave the pump off the next day to drop the temp.The pool dropped to 95.I enjoyed my swim last night.I live in the bay area so it cools down into the high 40's or low 50's this time of year and its about 85 during the day.I am now experimenting with how long I need to run the pump each day to keep the pool at a desired temp.NOTE. I also have a cheap solar blanket on my pool but it didn't give us the desired efect last year.The two together work great.I'm a believer.
