(More customer reviews)I purchased a Bond fire pit, similar to this item.Immediately after bringing it home, the paint started to peel and fall off.This is happening on the entire surface of this fire pit.
I sent a complaint to the company, saying I have young children, and the fact that this product is imported from China, I was concerned about possible lead in the paint.I received a call after a couple of days, this person said the paint was edible, I shouldn't worry about the kids eating it.I know you think I am joking, I almost fell over.
He then offered me $20 to go to the store, get some Rustoleum and scrape and paint the item myself.I thought he was kidding me, till he hung up on me.I would never buy another product from this company.It's bad enough they take no responsibility for what they sell, but to add unneeded sarcasm is just too much.I will gladly send you photos of the unit with the paint falling off.
